Nan and Emily Rockwell

Nan Ellis Rockwell Heida (1890-1979) md Jacob G. Heida (1901-1959), on the left, and Emily E. Rockwell Dyer (1892-1984), md Dibrell Dyer (1872-1947); daughters of Loyd L. Rockwell (1848-1934) and Rebecca Burnett (1865-1936). They were among the first to graduate from Tennessee Tech. Both were school teachers. Nan is buried in the Rockwell Cemetery and Emily is buried in the Dry Valley Cemetery. Rockwell Cemetery is located north of Hidden Hollow on the Rockwell farm, left side of road, Putnam Co., TN and the Dry Valley Cemetery located at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Putnam Co., TN.
