The late Cavalry Private Wyatt Claghorn, represented by his great-great-grandson Anthony Wyatt Hodge, is the Herald-Citizen Veteran of the Week. Claghorn served during the Civil War from 1861-1864, enlisted in the 16th Tennessee Infantry and transferred to Forrest 3rd Tennessee Cavalry. He died February 12, 1911, and is buried in Rocky Point Missionary Baptist Cemetery, Cookeville, Putnam Co., TN.
